Anything that's under about 140 or 135 frames per second is not real time

Nico Lafakis turned on 120fps recording and it quietly rewrote a word he had used his whole career. Real time used to mean whatever the camera handed him. Now he has a number on it: under roughly 135 to 140 frames per second, footage no longer registers to him as real time at all, and he says that is a strange thing to sit with. What he keeps returning to is how he found it. Nobody taught him. He enabled one feature he had never touched and looked hard at what came out.
