When AI saves two hours, where do those two hours go?
On Wednesday's show my co-host Nico Lafakis played it out with a what-if. Say you sell five-hour blocks a week of RevOps (revenue operations) work as a retainer, and with AI rolled out internally the same work takes three hours instead of five. His point: "There isn't an increase to bottom line. It's a decrease to employee time applied. So that employee gains two hours back."
Then the question he'd ask next: "How many people are doing that process?" Because "if that employee saved two hours from doing that process, that's massive if it can multiply. If it's just the two hours for them, that's still a huge lift. It's just not massive."
Those numbers are Nico's for his example, not results from our own work. If you're asking where the return on AI shows up inside a company, his answer here is in the hours people get back.
