Does a long conversation with your AI eat through your usage?

On Friday's show my co-host Nico Lafakis said that in his experience it doesn't. By his own meter: "six hours yesterday, zero usage… Just straight conversations." His dot (an AI that works with him inside ChatGPT) did the research and the paperwork while he coded separately.

Then, as he told it, after writing documents through Codex (OpenAI's coding tool) enough times, his dot came back and offered to write a short script so they wouldn't need Codex for that at all.
