Software companies may not love hearing this, but AI agents working directly with other AI agents is coming.
My co-host Nico Lafakis on Monday's show, on agent-to-agent (A2A), the way AI assistants talk to each other without you in the middle: "All I can say is we all fell asleep on that." He says there will always be traditional users, "You'll be fine," and that he can't say how many power users will go agent-to-agent only.
His read on Google, who put it out: pitching it as a payment system was a "huge mistake." Had they pitched it as a new data guardian, "I would have fully understood it then."
If you build for software buyers, it's a view worth hearing.
