How would anyone prove an employer used AI to hire or fire them?

California's No Robo Bosses Act was one of Monday's stories. After reading it out, my reaction: "good luck proving any of that stuff I just read."

My co-host Nico Lafakis spelled out why. "The only way you get access to the information as to whether or not the employer used the method for hiring or firing or whatever is by subpoena." And that gives them time "to throw that thing in the shredder."

For anyone on the receiving end of a system like that, my closing thought was "just go build something with AI instead."
