Why is that a life skill?

Is making a slide deck a life skill?

My co-host Nico Lafakis saw a post saying that using AI to build decks means you're not learning how to make them. His answer: "why is that a life skill?" Changing your oil and laying tile are life skills, in his view. "Knowing how to make a deck is not a life skill that you're ever really going to need to know."

That's Nico's take, and it's worth arguing with. Where would you rather put your learning time?
