A law that bans AI once it "surpasses human intelligence" sounds decisive, until you ask the question underneath it.

My co-host Nico asked it out loud on the show today, reacting to a bill in the news:

"When you see things like surpasses human intelligence, like show me that measurement. Like show me, show me like the meter that's gonna, that's gonna show that."

Nobody's built that meter. Until somebody does, the threshold is just a phrase.
