"Robots are coming" means nothing to anyone until you put two numbers next to each other.
My co-host Nico brought a pair to the show today from a Bloomberg segment he'd watched that morning:
"there's a tech expert from Barclays on there who then says that by 2035, it's expected that 13 million robots will ship annually. That currently we're at 65,000."
That's one analyst's forecast, relayed on our show — not a fact on the ground. The number that isn't a forecast is 65,000, now. He points at Mercedes, BMW, Amazon and the plants nobody tours.
