Trust doesn't mean it's correct

Trusting what AI gives you and trusting that it's correct are not the same thing.

My co-host Erin Wiggers made that distinction in Part 2 of 5 of our AI Readiness conversation. She'd read a study comparing people who trusted AI a lot with people who were skeptical of it.

"The people who trusted it more missed more errors because they were just like, oh, yeah, the AI is good. Let's just ship it."

Her line between the two:

"Trust that this is a good starting point for you to work from, that it gets you closer to your goal, not… that it completes the goal autonomously."

Use it as a starting point, and keep the part only you can check.
