Concept art, storyboard, motion reel, then Haiku, Sonnet, Opus
October 31, 2026
A finished 3D scene gets the attention. The order it was built in is the useful part.
My co-host Nico walked through how he built one of his scenes with Claude, and he put it plainly: "it's not like a one-shot process at all." He went through "all the same motions that I would have when I was back in college": concept art, storyboards built from the concept art, and a motion reel (a short reel of the planned motion) built from the storyboards, which he handed to Claude with instructions.
Then he climbed through Claude's models as the work got finer: a really low model, Haiku, to see if the rough was in the ballpark; Sonnet to add what was missing; Opus for refinement.
If you're building anything visual with AI, here is one working order, in about a minute and a half.
