Hearing that the AI bubble might burst? Nico reads it differently.
On Monday's show my co-host Nico Lafakis said that if it does burst, it's because "short-term building gets stalled… people pull out of deals because they can't just sit there and hang on to debt." As for the idea that prices will normalize: "I don't know what that means because it's not like the AI companies are improperly pricing things."
His reading: "It's really the market saying, 'Okay, well, I guess it's not as hot as we thought it was going to be.'" So "even the bubble bursting really represents people losing their patience."
That's his read of the market, not financial advice.
