To anyone anxious about AI: it will happen like whiplash

Anxious about where AI is heading? Nico doesn't pretend to have a fix, and says so.
On Monday's show my co-host Nico Lafakis spoke to anyone who's worried: "I don't know how to help with the anxiety aspect of it, because it is kind of crazy. But all I can say is that it's gonna happen like whiplash. It's gonna be really quick."
And on who can help you through it: "the amount of people that are going to be able to help you through it … it's gonna be the amount of people who knew anything about AI when you first started using it, right? So basically nobody."
His best prediction, tied to Watchmen (the comic-book story), is hopeful: "It is like the end of Watchmen… this Dr. Manhattan moment where the world finally pays attention to a singular global issue and potentially we all kind of work together towards the better good."
