Two weeks is long enough for the person a project was scoped around to change.
On Monday's show I told what happened on a call that morning. We're building in HubSpot for someone, and two weeks ago we were given a scope document by the person in charge of that specific process. Today, as we got clear on the proof of concept (an early working test), the main contact told us that when the scope was written, that person wasn't AI-enabled (couldn't yet work with AI), and now they are.
Two weeks later, I said, "she has a brand new capability."
If you scope or estimate work for other people, it's a reminder that what they can do now may not be what they could do when you wrote it.
