Things you technically shouldn't be able to do, and now can.
On Thursday's show my co-host Nico Lafakis said what he looks at is "how many rules you can break." His list: "You technically shouldn't be able to code your own apps. You technically shouldn't be able to do these kind of technical diagrams. You technically shouldn't be able to do all sorts of stuff, do your own animations and all that kind of thing. But you can now."
Then: "You have this magic wand." And "when you get your hands on your dot, it is going to feel so Fantasia to you, that you're going to lose your mind." (A dot is OpenAI's always-on assistant inside ChatGPT.)
If you've counted yourself out of building things because you're not technical, this is his case for taking another look.
