What does a dashboard miss about the value AI creates?
On Wednesday's show I told about a case-study slide at Tuesday's admins HUG (a HubSpot user group meeting). The biggest figures on the slide, for one process at a small business, were "23 hours saved plus 3K plus some amount of money." Underneath them, a quote the presenter chose to highlight: "I got my Sundays back."
My take: "That sentence doesn't work on a dashboard … Doesn't hit the bottom line." And "as a CFO, it's your job to understand the value of that sentence."
Those figures are from the presenter's slide, as I described it on the show, not numbers from our own work. If you're measuring what AI does for your people, I'd start with the sentence the numbers can't carry.
