Where does your team's best thinking go when most of the day is execution?
On Wednesday's show I talked about the value of people "staying in judgment while AI handles execution." When people are buried in doing the work, they're stressed when it's time to make a call, and the decisions suffer. That's the cost of keeping people in execution.
And you don't have to understand how complex the system needs to be for that to be real. "That's what AI is for. Just tell AI what you need. Give AI your goal." Here's the ask I'd start with: "Hey, I want my humans to stay in judgment and you to do all the execution. Can we build that system?"
If you lead people and you've been waiting for a perfect design before you start, that's the question I'd start with.
