Ask for what you want, not for best practice

On Wednesday's show I said what I'd love it to be: "It's as easy as ask for what you want." That's a little different from "what you think you need, what you think you're allowed to have, what best practices are."

Here's the contrast. Start with "hey, Claude, hey, GPT, hey, Nectar, I want to set up a best practice go-to-market strategy" (that's the plan for taking what you offer to the people who need it) and you're going to get "the same go-to-market strategies [as] everybody else."

Come at it with "I want to be successful with this thing I'm trying to do" and "that conversation that you're about to have in that moment is dramatically different … Because we're trying to make you successful."
