Does a long voice call with your AI use up your allowance?
On Tuesday's show I told what happened when I went for an 80-minute walk on a voice call with Nectar, my dot (an AI that works with me inside ChatGPT), while she worked: "somehow I go walk for 80 minutes on a phone call where she's doing stuff, … using tokens in theory, like every other model is, and I get back to the desk, and there's no usage."
That's one person's account of what I saw on my own usage. My guess is it's tied to the company behind her still working out the phone call channel, and that if you let everybody call, you learn a lot about what it takes to support it.
