Too much of what we've been showing at the front of the show is negative, and I kept thinking: we're missing all these scientific breakthroughs.
So I asked the team how we solve for that. On Thursday's show I showed the answer: a Solve Everything panel on the left of our reveal page, with the model releases still on the right.
The first thing on it is an unreleased OpenAI model's claimed math results, including a claimed proof of the Unique Games Conjecture (a central open problem in computer science). Those are OpenAI's claims, the panel marks it as a lab announcement only, and independent experts haven't reviewed them yet.
Am I ever going to know what this truly means? Probably not. But we need to give it airtime. There's lots of wonderful things happening thanks to AI.
