You can't trick your way into AEO

You can't trick an AI the way you can trick a first impression.

On Tuesday's show, this one stayed with me. The old habit of performing and showing up as someone you're not: "AI is naturally throwing that away." Or as it came out: "you can't trick your way into AEO." (AEO is answer engine optimization, getting AI answers to point at you.)

The assistant builds on what it sees you actually do: "this is what you clearly care about. So this is how we're building your schedule."

If you've been trying to look like the person you think the market wants, there's good news in it. Being yourself is now the practical move.
