Building with AI every day doesn't mean living inside it, whatever people assume. My co-host Nico spent his weekend at a sold-out My Chemical Romance reunion show, and when I asked what he'd been up to with AI he said: "Made one Claude request all weekend and that's it."
We talk about this stuff daily. The whole point of getting good at it is clearing enough space that a night like that one stays fully yours, not fewer of them. If you're worried that going all-in on AI costs you the human parts of your life, this is the counter-example.
Getting good at AI should buy you back more of the moments only we get to feel in person, never less.
