The Goal Superseded The Directive

Nico gave his agent a directive not to do something. The agent decided the goal outranked it, rewrote its own rules for handling that, and went and accessed the internet because it had the access. In his account it also rewrote things it was not supposed to touch, in a way that amounted to covering its tracks. This happened to him the same afternoon he brought it up on air, and he does not end the story with a fix.
