Recorded meetings and duplicate call records: the full discussion

Opt into the beta and a recorded meeting stops creating a call record alongside the meeting record; the change reaches all customers on August 31, 2026. Check your reporting first — anything keyed on call properties, and any team that reaches recordings through the call index page, shifts underneath them. Call records still exist for actual phone calls, which leaves the recorded-phone-call case genuinely ambiguous.
