AI do it versus me do it

If AI does all of it, you can end up with an outcome you can't explain.

In Part 5 of 5 of our AI Readiness conversation, I asked my co-host Erin Wiggers, "Is it that easy, Erin?"

Her answer:

"Sometimes. Where I get hung up is, if I don't do some of it, that I might end up with an outcome that I can't explain."

She had built a new app with Claude and was doing the final testing. Her checklist had something like 189 steps, so she told Claude to run the ones it could just run.

Where she draws the line:

"if I need to actually learn something from that, there needs to be at least some manual thing that I do, otherwise it's not going to go into my brain."

Let AI run what you only need to know worked, and do by hand what you need to understand.
