Once you don't trust the CRM
October 21, 2026
The CRM seems fine until somebody asks for results.
I asked my co-hosts how we usually deal with that. Trisha Merriam on what she sees:
"People who have no CRM experience try to make do, not even knowing how that CRM works. Until somebody starts asking them for results, at which point… they can't figure out how to get results out of their CRM. Or they present them in front of the team and three people stand up and say, I get a different number. And that's embarrassing."
Erin Wiggers on what it costs:
"Once you don't trust the CRM, you might as well not have a CRM. That's how flying blind you are in that scenario."
Get the numbers right before the meeting where someone asks.
