Missing context, and AI on both ends
October 21, 2026
One person asks for bullets. Another asks for the whole book. You only get to send one email.
"If you want two people to consume the same email and one asks for bullets and one asks for the book, it's a lose lose situation."
In Part 3 of 5 of our AI Readiness conversation, I talked about what changes when AI is on both ends:
"I generated the long AI email, you read it with your AI and gave me another email back, right, from AI."
And what it leaves room for:
"You jump on a 15 minute call and it's solved like that. Meanwhile, hours might have been spent by multiple people on those emails."
"When I talk about AI putting us in a position to be more human, this is it."
Let AI carry the context in the digital channels, and save the call for the conversation only people can have.
