The step I skipped was the one that was working.
On the show, my co-host Trisha Merriam pointed out that I'd skipped the summarize step with Nectar, my AI assistant.
"Not the first time. I started with it and then I got so excited how good it was. I tried to go right to number six."
Number six on our trust ladder is act. So I told Nectar to watch what Claude Code is doing for the week. Then, as Trisha put it:
"And then next week, you'll go back to summarize and say, what did you learn? Or what did you see?"
Excitement is a good sign. Just don't let it skip the rungs.
