Release notes can make a simple change sound complicated. Reading HubSpot's update on subscription properties, I got stuck on two sentences: the data "has long been available in HubSpot," and the new properties are "part of the CRM."

So I asked: "Isn't HubSpot the CRM? What do you mean now a part of the CRM? What does that even mean?" My best guess: "properties on objects." They're making it easier to have visibility, I think.

If an update leaves you asking what actually changed, that's a fair thing to ask out loud.
