Handoff summaries: use them as a starting point

A ticket moves from customer agent (HubSpot's AI support agent) to a person. How many summaries do you need to read before you stop scrolling the whole thread? We went around the table, and nobody gave the same answer.

Zach Hussion: "if I spot checked a couple of them and they looked good, I'd be like, all right, cool. Let's go."

Casey Hawkins wants the conversation recap, but called a concise one "potentially dangerous." She also came at it as someone who has received support: "I explained it to the robot like six times. That's why I'm here."

My view: the word concise in the update worries me. When I learn with AI, I ask for "comprehensive" so it doesn't go concise, and without configuration elsewhere it's going to miss stuff.

What I'd keep: "there's a balance. The key is, can you trust the fact that you can use that summary as a starting point?" Read it, get on the call, and keep the full context right next to it. "Not all or nothing approach."
