Your customer may run NetSuite and never have said so. On Thursday we were helping someone with an AI native operating system build out who has been a customer for about a year, and I said on the show, "I don't think one time NetSuite has come up in 12 months." It only surfaced once we laid out the systems around their customer data: "This is where the space to just say things out loud is so helpful."
That is why HubSpot's NetSuite custom object sync, now in private beta, deserved a second look today. Per the update, it connects NetSuite custom records to HubSpot custom objects, so data the standard integration doesn't support, like custom assets, subscriptions, repair tickets and order related records, can reach your customer facing teams.
Madelyn Donovan sees it from the client side: "A lot of our clients do use NetSuite but they don't use a direct connection to HubSpot." She can "absolutely see this simplifying that process."
Two questions I'd bring to any customer conversation. First, what is NetSuite doing for them: "Is it just an accounting system? Is it an operational management system?" Second, NetSuite considers everything a custom object, so "will the limits of 10 custom objects still be the thing?"
And if NetSuite does turn up: "outside of this integration, you can ask Breeze Assistant to go look at whatever is in NetSuite and grab it."
