Two HubSpot updates, one test for both: what question does the feature answer?
Bulk actions on scanning results lets you select many sensitive data scan results and redact them, or mark them not sensitive, in one step. Ryan Ginsberg went to the questions I'd want answered too: "How far does the scan go?" and "what's happening under the hood once you mark it as redacted?"
Then the redacted email bodies setting from last week. Admins can turn it on portal wide, and sent emails get logged without the body. Ryan asked, "Why would you do this?" Casey Hawkins made the case for it: if you're not connecting HubSpot at all today, "it's incrementally better to be able to see which contacts are having activity versus which contacts don't."
My question is what a redacted email in the system answers. The point of visibility is knowing what they got, so I don't say the exact same thing. If the only reason is to make sure opens and clicks get measured, don't do that.
