Bulk delete and restore for index views: clean up the baggage, with a way back

I shared my screen and read HubSpot's update for CRM index views. You can see when each view was last used, delete several at once, and restore a deleted view yourself from a new recently deleted page. Per the update, that recovery window is ninety days. Until now, getting one back meant contacting support.

Joshua Oakes, who we call Oaks, noticed it said live but wasn't showing up: "it must be on slow rollout because it says live." His reaction to the idea: "Well, let me just say, hallelujah."

Oaks went to the portal with the worst example: "there are two hundred and change views of the index used for the deal object." Casey's point: "with all the changes to views, I almost feel like I work in a lot of portals that there's a lot of baggage from that."

My take is that "now that you can scale that back, you can get adoption first," and clean up after.
