Breeze Assistant in Slack can update records, so check the permissions first

Who gets to tell Breeze to reassign a whole book of accounts from a Slack thread?

I read HubSpot's update. It says Breeze can now update CRM records, enroll records into workflows, help prep for meetings and log calls, all started from Slack. It's aimed at the cleanup work: duplicates, bulk reassignments, anything that today means leaving Slack and clicking through HubSpot.

Joshua Oakes, who we call Oaks, read it carefully: "I have to conclude from historical patterns that these will all be user permission gated. It's not explicitly called out." That's his inference, so test it before you promise anyone.

His month is why it matters: "October has turned out to be the month of sales, territory, record, ownership, reassignment, and whatever, on a bunch of projects." He's been encouraging clients to get their territory rules into Breeze context, "not terribly successfully, frankly."

Casey Hawkins named the bigger pattern: "people are using HubSpot but not necessarily in HubSpot." Having those rules documented is where I'd start.
