View external posts on the social calendar, and the consistency I'm hoping for

HubSpot is adding a way to view external posts, the ones published outside HubSpot, on the social calendar. It is in public beta, with an expected date of October 28. Casey Hawkins gets it right away: "I sometimes post from HubSpot. I sometimes post from LinkedIn directly. So for me personally, this is very nice."

My hope is consistency. You get excited about keeping track of things outside HubSpot, and then it's not consistent, so whether a post gets caught "has not always been clear to me." The networks listed are Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Reddit, TikTok, X and YouTube. Trisha Merriam wondered how many platforms it really supports, which is the right question to ask once you try it.
