Zoom sync by role: sales and customer success in, maybe not every ops meeting

The biggest thing I brought back from UNBOUND, and I have said it a million times now: "Good context helps AI outcomes, but bad context can actually deter outcomes."

Zoom sync settings now work by role. You choose which roles have their meetings synced to HubSpot, instead of turning sync on for each person one at a time. Synced meetings power recordings, transcripts and the context behind them.

My reaction: "this is cooler than I thought it was going to be." Sync sales and customer success, maybe not every operations meeting.

On the show we also talked about a HIPAA case. Sales never touches HIPAA data, support does, and security had blocked sync entirely. Role-based sync is a real opening there.
