Before you build a conditional rule on a property, ask who is going to use it.

Conditional property logic with AND and OR groups is in public beta, expected October 18. It shows a property only when other conditions are met.

My concern is the data model. "what human is about to do this? And let's talk about it before you do." And "we're trying to do way too much on one object. And we need to do more with associations." Move that information to an associated record and you handle it in a more scalable way.

Casey's live test showed the dependent property asking, not required. One more note from the show: it only works with manual updates, so a marketing-only portal where sales lives elsewhere gets little from it.
