Lookup properties: should we press it?

A lookup property is a new field type that references another CRM record as a property value and carries the labeled relationship with it — the link you would make on the associations side, surfaced as a property. The case for it is adoption, and lookup fields in forms out of the box, one of the most common customizations. The counterweight on the show: it becomes a trap if you don't know the association label behind it, and a cramped lookup box punishes loose naming. On Another Orange Morning.
